POLICY

Payments 

At Serenity Paternity & Labs, we strive to provide clear and transparent payment procedures for our clients. This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payment for our services.  All payments for testing services are due at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. This ensures that we can provide timely and efficient service to all our clients. If payment is not received and confirmed before the service date, we may cancel the appointment. Clients will be notified of any cancellations due to non-payment. 

 

No Show Policy  

Clients are required to notify Serenity Paternity & Labs at least 24 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment. Notifications can be made via phone or email.  If a client is a No-Show for a scheduled appointment, a rebooking fee of $25 will be charged to cover the costs associated with the missed appointment. As a courtesy, we may send reminder notifications via phone, email, or text message prior to your appointment. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to remember and attend your scheduled appointment. 

Non-Refundable Services

Once testing services have been rendered, and the testing process has begun, we do not offer refunds. This policy applies to all testing services, If an error occurs on our part during the testing process, we will take corrective action to resolve the issue. This may include re-testing at no additional cost or issuing a full refund if re-testing is not possible. Errors may include, but are not limited to, sample mishandling, technical issues in the laboratory. 

Arriving Late 

At Serenity Paternity & Labs, punctuality is essential to ensure that we provide timely and efficient service to all our clients. To maintain our schedule and respect the time of all clients, we have implemented a Late Fee Policy. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to late arrivals for scheduled appointments. If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late to their appointment without prior notification, booking is subject to cancellation. A late fee of $25 will be charged prior to rebooking. 

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy: At Serenity Paternity & Labs, we are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our services (e.g., laboratories, IT services). These providers are obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed. By using our services, you agree to the terms of this policy. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas). We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on our website and indicating the effective date.
